Michael Borrow, RMT, FRCms, Registered Massage Therapist
Hi, my name is Michael and I am a Registered Massage Therapist and a Certified Mobility Specialist within the Functional Range Conditioning System.
I grew up playing competitive lacrosse and hockey and also competed in boxing. Aside from contact sports, I am also an avid golfer. I like to challenge myself by trying new things and getting outside of my comfort zone.
Outside of sports, my hobbies include playing guitar, writing music, watching movies and spending time with friends and family.
As an athlete, I saw the benefits that massage cane have on recovery and injury rehabilitation and it’s role in injury prevention. I have always had the need to know how something works and so the function of the human body has always fascinated me. I love how hands on Massage Therapy is and how active I get to be while at work every day. And of course I love helping people live pain-free!
Over the course of my career, I have worked in the sports clinical setting and have provided sports teams with on-field care. My background in competitive sport allows me to understand and treat common injuries found in the athletic community as well as everyday common injuries.
During the 2018-19 hockey season, I was the Head Trainer for the Vaughn Kings Midget “AAA” hockey team. I also worked with other amateur, professional and Olympic level athletes participating in sports such as: figure skating, lacrosse, volleyball, golf, tennis, CrossFit, powerlifting, running, swimming, cycling and martial arts.
My Massage Therapy services include: Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Injury Rehab & Prevention, Mobility Training, Swedish/Relaxation Massage and Cupping Therapy.
I am in the clinic Wednesday mornings, Thursday evenings and Friday mornings.
I look forward to connecting with you!
