Megan Sullivan, CAT(C), M.Sc., BA H.Kin, Certified Athletic Therapist, Fascial Stretch Therapist & TPI Level 1 Therapist
What activities do you want to do but your body is limiting you?
As an Athletic Therapist, I have treated countless people who want to golf, ski, run, and, hike, but they have an injury or pain that prevents them from doing what they love.
My treatment style can be translated across many different sports; however, I have a special interest in treating golfers as I am an avid golfer myself. I have experienced first-hand how taking care of your body can improve your game, not only in how far you hit the ball, but also in improved fitness and accelerated recovery afterwards.
I treat individuals of all ages to help them rehabilitate their injuries, improve their mobility through Fascial Stretch Therapy and help them reach their goals, no matter how big or small they may be.
Previously, I worked in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger Cats for three seasons where I got to be actively involved with hundreds of injuries from the time it happened, to executing the rehabilitation program, and eventually helping them get back to the field as safely and efficiently as possible. This experience was highly rewarding and the tools I gained are integrated into my work today. I tailor each session to you, your specific injury or pain all while keeping your goals at the forefront.
I want to help you participate in your activities with confidence. My group Fitness Integrated Therapy classes are a great way to bridge the gap between your injury rehab and your fitness. If you are looking to walk more, climb the stairs without pain, or hit the golf ball longer, the strength and flexibility you will gain in these group classes will help you achieve just that!
If you are a DIY type of person, you can find my three books sold on Amazon: The All-in-One Golf Strength & Flexibility Guide, The All-in-One Shoulder Injury Prevention Guide and most recently the Recovery Guide for Muscle & Joint Health. These are easy to follow guides that will help you on your journey to become stronger, more mobile and prevent injury.
Lastly, if you are looking to achieve pain-free movement, gain the tools to help you become stronger and more flexible to get back to the activities you love, book an initial session with me to get started on a more active, mobile and pain-free life!
I am in the clinic Monday through Friday, offering evening appointments Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
