Megan Sullivan, CAT(C)

Megan Sullivan, CAT(C), M.Sc., BA H.Kin

My name is Megan and I am a Certified Athletic Therapist from Hamilton, ON. I am a graduate of the Advanced Athletic Therapy program at Mount Royal University in 2013. I also have a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. More recently, I completed my Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences at McMaster University in 2017.

In addition to treatment, I aim to educate my clients about the importance of exercise to help overcome injuries, both acute and chronic.

My treatment style can be translated across many different sports with a special interest in golf, as I am an avid golfer myself. I have experience working with a variety of injuries and I am able to adequately facilitate the return to play process. I also recognize when a bracing or compression support is necessary. I specialize each session to the individual, their activity or sport while keeping the patient’s goal(s) in mind.

My past experience includes working with the Hamilton Tiger Cats for three seasons followed by working in a private clinic. I have a strong background in treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, while utilizing a sport medicine approach  for all of my patients. I am confident I can effectively rehabilitate your injuries and get you back to doing what you love!

I published the All-in-One Golf Strength & Flexibility Guide on Amazon. This is a great tool to achieve higher fitness levels tailored to golf while keeping injury prevention at the forefront.

I have also recently published my second book called the All-in-One Shoulder Injury Prevention Guide on Amazon. This is a therapeutic exercise program to help prevent and rehabilitate shoulder injuries.
